I'll answer these as best I can.

1. Has the base game been updated or is it still printing and shipping with the same rules/missions? Last I checked, some of the missions were broken and the rules had been changed. Just wondering.

A: I believe it's still shipping with the old rule book, but updated one with fixed versions of the two broken missions are on their website.

2. Is the second season a standalone game, expansion playable with season 1, or both?

A: Prison Outbreak is considered a standalone game and the new Toxic City Mall needs either PO or the base game to be used. I'm sure you could mix PO and the base game tiles to make bigger maps.

3. I notice there is a MASSIVE amount of kickstarter survivors. Do these go with Season 1, Season 2, or both?

A: Both.

4. What the heck is a zombivor?

A: Season 2 is introducing zombivors. Basically if a character dies, they can come back as a 'good' zombie and still be controlled by the player, albiet with slightly different skills.

5. Will there eventually be a big box purchase that has EVERYTHING in it?

A: Doubtful, as that'd be one hell of a big and heavy box!

Edit: I need to type faster :P

I would suggest 2 things

1) add -1 to hit when there are survivors in the zone ..
harder to hit zombies when you care more obstacles.

2) use the lower experience of the shooter and all the survivors in the zone.
Less experience survivors don't know to be a low profile and stay out of the firing lane.

personally have no issues with rules out of the box.

1. Restock will deliver next month, may have new rules, probably not.
2.prison outbreak is standalone. Toxic city mall must have base game or prison outbreak to work.
3. Survivors work the same with both games.
4.after a survivor dies he can come back as a zombivor at the start of a players phase and now can take up to 5 wounds and has slightly different skills.
5.big box purchase? Doubt it they would have to charge like $200-$300 to cover production cost. I don't think anyone would buy that!

It wouldn't surprise me if they combined season one and TCM into one box at some time in the future though. But that probably won't happen anytime soon.

Many thanks for all these great answers. I know the rulebook thing is picky, but it drives me absolutely BONKERS to have a game with an outdated rule book. I really hope that GG will start sending out Zombicide w/ the new rules/missions. I enjoyed the game quite a bit. It was the best I found for scratching the Zombie itch. In the meantime, I'll keep an eye out for the next kickstarter and see what all that will include. Happy Zombie Hunting!

Makes sense. Thanks.

I have received Zombicide 1 week ago. The rulebook is updated as mission #2 and #7 are revised.
Comparing mission PDF from website only graphics layout is little different but text in objectives and special rules are the same.

Thanks! I'm assuming this is the English version of the game. Is that correct?

if your going to do it, the chance to hit a friendly should also be adjusted base on the weapon being used, Shotguns gain their better hit rolls due to their indiscriminate nature and Submachine guns rules kind of represent a spray and pray tactic.

How do you hand out the equipment cards at the start of the game with 2 players (2 survivors total)in the mission Might makes right?

Should we remove 3 pans, and have 1 of the survivor start with 2 items, and the other one start with only 1?

If that is the right thing to do, do we put the pan back in the equipment deck or do we remove it from the game?

Also keep in mind that using any type of targetting varient or house rule will make at least four of the survivor skills useless.
Sniper
Steady hand
Point blank
Low profile

I bought the french version a couple of months ago and it also came with the updated rulebook.
so you can rest assured that each new printrun of zombicide will come with the latest/updated version of the rules.
This is standard procedure in the boardgame industry as far as I know.

I think your best bet is the car art used in GTA 1-2-3 (Grand Theft auto) pc game. the earlier versions which are 2d isomorphic use similar slightly cartoonish car art from a top-down view.
The resolution on those might be too small but it can give you quite some ideas to design your own cars as there are several dozens of cars (sports cars, pickups, run-of-the-mill cars, trucks etc.).

IIRC, GTA 3 is in 3D.

It's a good idea, though the biggest challenge will be to find high res images from said cars!

Found this image of Seth Gecko on DA and thought he would make a great survivor. Maybe someone can do his brother Richie. Any ideas what skills I should use? I'm really new to Zombicide. And if someone knows of a nice miniature that would match his looks, let me know.

Another one: Since I don't have the Dave/Sheldon character, I made my own nerd survivor: McLovin

This guy is gonna kick some serious zed butt

your picture is actually nice already, the resolution is almost high enough, a little sharpening gives a good result.
